Sweet as Can Be is a whimsical children's clothing brand inspired by the playful essence of childhood and the magic found in everyday moments. The collection reimagines kids' fashion as an intersection of comfort, creativity, and style, offering versatile garments designed to fit seamlessly into both playtime and special occasions.
Creating the Sweet as Can Be capsule collection was an immersive process that allowed me to bring a playful yet polished vision to life. Each garment was carefully designed in Adobe Illustrator, combining precision with creativity to ensure every detail reflected the charm and whimsy of childhood.
The Adventure Set was designed for little explorers ready to take on the world. The design process began with the overalls’ classic silhouette, which I carefully drafted in Adobe Illustrator. Functional details, like adjustable straps were added to ensure the garment could handle endless adventures. The overalls’ relaxed fit made them comfortable for active play, while maintaining a timeless aesthetic.To make this set truly special, I designed a coordinating fanny pack that attached to the overalls via hidden loops, blending practicality with style. Using Illustrator, I meticulously sketched the pack to mirror the overalls’ structure, ensuring a cohesive look. The pack featured a secure zip closure and was sized just right for carrying little treasures like crayons, snacks, or small toys.
.The Oh So Fruity Set merges sustainable bamboo cotton with playful creativity, making it a go-to outfit for parents seeking style, comfort, and durability. It’s a celebration of summer’s sweetness, wrapped up in a jumpsuit that’s as vibrant as childhood itself.
The Cloud Set captures the carefree joy of sunny skies and rainbow-filled days. This playful yet elegant two-piece ensemble features a rainbow halter top paired with a flowy skirt, both crafted from soft knit fabric for ultimate comfort and movement. The color palette included soft pastel rainbows with Pantone-coded shades of peach, pink, blues, and orange, tying the set to the overall dreamy theme of the collection.
